Fixed RFID Readers

With fixed RFID readers, you can quickly and accurately move and track large volumes of RFID-tagged cases, pallets, and items.

Fixed UHF RFID Readers Manufacturer

RoyalRay is a leading Fixed RFID Readers Manufacturer in China. Our high-performance UHF Fixed RFID Readers are powered by IMPINJ E Series chips. Supports temperature sensor tags, offers multiple RF ports, ideal for diverse industrial applications.

Fixed RFID Readers Features

Multiple RF ports: 1,4,8,16 ports for choice.

Abundant communication interfaces: Support RS232, RS485, USB (Slave), MODBUS channels, TCP/IP interface, with WiFi and some other communication ports for choice.

Supports antenna failure detection: RoyalRay’ s fixed RFID readers also include an antenna failure detection feature, which ensures reliable and continuous operation. The system monitors each connected antenna and alerts the user if there is a malfunction or disconnection. This helps to minimize downtime by allowing for immediate corrective action.

Excellent multi-tag anti- collision capabilities: Designed with IMPINJ E710/E510/E310 and support ISO18000-6C(EPC C1G2) protocol tag, featuring excellent multi-tag anti-collision functionality.

How Fixed RFID Works

Fixed RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems use RFID readers that are permanently installed in specific locations to continuously track and identify tagged items. These systems consist of three main components: RFID tags, RFID readers, and antennas.

1. Tag Detection:

   - When an RFID tag comes into the range of the reader’s antenna, the tag gets energized by the radio waves emitted by the reader (for passive tags).

   - Once energized, the tag sends its unique ID or other stored data back to the reader via the antenna.

2. Data Transmission:

   - The reader collects the data from the tag, which could include product information, location, or timestamps.

   - Fixed RFID systems often integrate with warehouse management systems (WMS) or other databases to update or track the movement of items.

3. Continuous Monitoring:

   - Unlike handheld RFID systems, fixed RFID readers are installed in permanent locations and can automatically scan any tag within its detection range. This makes them ideal for applications like inventory tracking, asset management, and supply chain monitoring.

4. Integration and Control:

   - The data captured by fixed RFID readers is typically sent to a centralized software system that can analyze, store, and manage the information in real-time, enabling precise monitoring of items across a facility.

Benefits of Using Fixed RFID Technology

Implementing fixed RFID technology streamlines the management of high-volume inventory and material flow. By enabling the reading of large quantities of tags and entire pallets as they move through operations, overall accuracy is enhanced. This brings greater visibility into the movement of inventory, assets, and materials across your processes, while reducing costly errors and operational expenses.

Enhanced Data Visibility:

Track critical information in real-time to maintain optimal accuracy as items move through your operation.

Improved Time Efficiency:

Scan bulk quantities simultaneously, eliminating the need to process each item individually, saving valuable time.

Boosted Accuracy:

RFID technology provides a more accurate method for managing moving inventory, surpassing barcode systems and traditional manual or paper-based methods.

Lower Costs:

With better insight into key inventory and shipping data, you can make cost-effective decisions and optimize your ordering processes.
