What is the SCAN-MODE?

Simply speaking, SCAN-MODE is reader’s automatic working mode.
In normal mode, the reader receives commands from the host and returns the results. However, under some circumstances, the reader keep receiving same commands from the host and carrying the same tasks. Intense communication of same information is not only a waste of time but also degrading the efficiency. To cope with this situation, RR9 series readers support SCAN-MODE. In SCAN-MODE, the host send command to predefine the block number, contents and feedback format to the readers, then the readers execute these command automatically and return the results until the host stops its work..
